2015 Armada alpha x vs 2015 Armada b dog

I know a lot of people hate these threads but i'm looking for some good reviews of each ski, right now i'm skiing klint pipestars which are stiff as hell, so i'm looking for a softer ski that i can easily butter with, i've heard that both skis are good but i was wondering which of the two would be better for me i ski mostly park on the east coast with no jumps that are bigger than 30 or 40 feet and am just starting to get into rails i would want a ski that would hold up for at least 1 or 2 seasons i'm 5'11" and 175lbs

Even tho they're the same ski with different flex patterns, I've heard the alpha x is much more all Mtn oriented. The b dog is soft but not as soft as armada advertises from what I hear. If I were you I'd go b dog since you want the softer ski and the more park oriented ski.

can anybody tell me anything else about the alpha x, i think the graphics on them are sweet, but im worried about the flex how much different are the b dogs and the alpha x's would i still be able to easily butter on the alphas? or would they be to stiff

ive been reading some other reviews of the b dog and some people say that they have no pop and you cant carve on them is that true?

I just pulled the trigger on a pair of alpha Xs which should be delivered monday.

the flex between the two skis is extremely marginal. if you were blindfolded and hand flexed both you wouldn't be able to tell the difference. here is the official flex pattern between the two:

alpha x: Tip - 6, Waist - 7, Tail - 6.5 (1 = Softest, 10 = Stiffest)
bdogg: Tip - 5, Waist - 6, Tail - 5.5 (1 = Softest, 10 = Stiffest)


That being said, I have not skied either the bdogg or the alpha x. I have however skied the predecessor of each (alpha 1 and original halo) and the alpha IMO is the superior ski. As for it 'not being able to carve' I cannot comment on the bdogg or the alpha x, but I can tell you I carve the fuck out of my alpha 1s and plan to do the same with the alpha X.

You only need to look at the ski's profile to see that is bullshit.

"Some people" are just bad.
