Strongly considering selling my canon setup and jumping on the sony boat. I've heard some stuff about it having horrible rolling shutter and alliasing in 60-120 fps, but most of the videos I've seen demonstrating the slow motion capabilities looked fine. So any thoughts on this camera for action sports or how it handles photography.

I use the a7s with the atomos shogun. I really like the camera. haven't seen any aliasing at 1080 60. And the rolling shutter isn't a huge problem.

I've had my a7s for about a month and absolutely love it. The low light capabilities and dynamic range continue to blow my mind, the xavc-s is crisp, and when 4k becomes more of the norm and recorder prices go down I like how its got that option

I use one, and it was a huge step up from the 5D

Anybody using the metabones canon adaptor? I am saving up for an a7s and am not sure whether to buy native lenses or get and adaptor to have way more options down the road

I use the metabones mark IV sony e mount to canon ef adapter. its been ok. i do get some light leaks with it sometimes but was able to fix it with a little gaff tape on the mount. its also nice that it can shoot full frame or aps-c crop so if you want a longer focal length quickly for a shot you dont alway have to swap lens.
