RAZOR BURN!!!!!

I hate shaving every morning cuz of the pain it causes. I use shaving cream and after shave to sooth it but it still hurts like a b*tch. Anyone have tips for me to stop this pain? Oh, and if you dont grow any facial hair yet, DONT COMMENT.

you can do what I do, shave only when there's on occasion to (and sometimes even then you don't). I hate shaving so I shave like once a week.

i use the mach 3 with pro gel.....doesn't take more then 5 or 10 minutes, and i don't get any razor burn or red spots, maybe you all just suck at shaving.......???????

whatever you do, do NOT use hand/moisturizing lotion instead of shaving cream(if you're in a hurry and trying to go fast). it's worse than anything! and little red dots all over...ouch.

I use this coconut skin cream, its really good and smells yummy too. You might want to get a sharper razor or something, I know if my razor gets dull I get the little red spots...
I use Gillette Mach3 its the best! electric razors are for wussies! hahaha.... uhhh
plus the fact that I am extremely scared of electric razors... because I cut myself bad with one once... even though its impossible to cut yourself with an electric razor but I managed to do it anyway.

shaving cream is way too much hassle.. if you just do a real half-ass job and don't shave close to your skin, you don't need it :)

I use an electric razor, except, there are certain areas that don't work too well (like sideburns) so I just just use a normal razor on those. I found it's best to do that in the shower.

electric razors are the way to go, I think its impossible to shave under you chin with a straight edge without getting razor burn

shaving without shaving cream sucks. i tried to do it a few days ago and did it really fast then blood started dripping all over the place.

bitchassphatz is right, can't go wrong with a Mach 3 and some nice shave gel, I tend not to use aftershave unless I'm going out. Just don't do it too fast and don't do too many sweeps or you'll get wicked irritation. Stay away from electric ones, they are hell not smooth and don't get close enough, oh yeah, never ever EVER use a Mach 3 on your legs, hell that hurts.

i dont care if electric are for wussies it takes like 30 seconds with one but with a regular one you have to put the shaving cream on then shave it just takes forever

yeah mach 3's suck it takes too long to shave with a straight razor, I dont need to impress anyone I'm sticking to the electric, why even risk cuts and scrapes

I used Mach 3s for like the past two years with good shaving gell. Then about a month ago I ran out of blades and seeing as I had about 50 shick(sp?) triple blade razors so I might as well switch to them. I am never switching back! They give me the best shave ever. The mach 3s have no middle flex and therefore suck on areas such as your chin and under your jaw. Just don't go over the same area too many times or you will get the red bumps and irritation.

i can shave in like 2 minutes with my edge pro gel and my mach 3. i got an electric razor for christmas last year but it didn't get close enough. any electrics out there that get as close as a mach 3? i'd be interested.

yeah i like mach 3 it only takes like 5-10 minutes to shave but i dont have to shave everyday so it isnt a big deal

If they made a monocoque Mach-3 with torsional flex and a modular suspension system in the center then it would probably be heaps easier around the nose, it's like trying to drive a Mack truck around a supermarket carpark at rush hour...with no steering.

it's all about the mach3. takes me about 4 minutes to giver on my whole face - with electric i find that u have to go over the same spot fifty times.
i think that the schick triple blade razor sucks ass.. i got a whole buncha free ones at snojaw, and used it once - never to be touched again, they irritated the shit outta my skin.

alright i got a question for you guys.....i can't figure this out......alright i get a little hair above my lip to my nose and i can't shave it by the nostrals....i always try bgetting it be moving the blade towards my cheeks from the middle of my nose and end up cutting my nose it sucks...what do you guys do, cuz i can't figure out how to gets these hairs

I just try and shave diagonally out from the nostral, as opposed to shaving straight out towards your cheek. You could always just pluck it ;)

I use an electric one for that, the only thing the piece of crap is good for. One time when I grew a beard I tried using my electric to shave it off and it kept stalling coz the hair was too thick and it would pull them out and ohhhhh the pain. Nah, use scissors or an electric, it's all good.

i have only gotten my eye brows wax. that shit hurts!!!! oh to help soothe razor burn put on lotion, or like baby powder. if your a guy i am not sure bt don't you use after shave. oh also for you legs where like really soft, silky pants. it helps prevent/ sooth razor burn

dude i just shaved my legs. i dunno about you but i rather have no hair on my legs then prickley hair on my legs. i like my legs all silky and smooth. and i don't get razor burn on my legs ne more cause i shave them just about every day

well now.....i don't shave my legs, but um.....i hope your guys swim or something. and girls we all like when you shave your armpits and legs...smooth legs are good....prickily are just fun to rub your hand on because its prickly, if i ever met a girl with hair in either places i will barf (phish concerts) oh and um.....make sure you trim the bush, no guy likes to take off you panties and have a afropussy in their face.....the end

I HAVE A TIP, when you shave you arne't suposto cut your face off with the hair. Yes it will probably stay away longer. The large full face scabe isn't worth it. Although the ladies do seem to dig that look.

We got this new organic leg wax stuff over here. It's supposed to not hurt at all and you put it on cold and rub it off, well... it hurts like a BITCH the first time but after that it's all good, try it, it's called nads or something, lol, don't get turned off by the name, it's good stuff...sometimes, apparently you can eat it too.
