He could of walked away but once the drunk guy rocked him like that, it's on. One clean punch. No kicks, no beating his chest in rage. He stood there smiling realizing the guy was drunk and didn't show any anger. It's so fucking annoying when a drunk guy starts shit with you for something as little as making eye contact.
