I recently put out an edit that I liked a lot and tried to tell a bit of a story (tried) and for the most part it went over pretty well and was a different kind of edit them most of the videos I've seen. I want to step it up and keep progressing and would like to know what I could do better. Should I buy like a 2.8 lens rather than shoot on a 4.0-5.6 to get a smaller depth of field to really blur the background or should I move away from these edits and only do them every so often?
