e.waitThe feel of it is pretty darn similar to a front flip, so it'll help if you've put one or two of those to your feet before trying the misty 5 (even though they're actually easier than front flips once you have a feel for the rotation). If you have ever done a misty 5 on a tramp or off a diving board, it's the same exact shit minus the part where you land on skis. As you come off the lip, pop and throw your right/left shoulder forward & across your body to opposite side of your body. You really don't need too much across the body motion -- it doesn't take much effort to spin 180. After takeoff, you'll see the knuckle as you start flipping forward and spinning either left or right. As you become inverted, the knuckle/landing will start to go out of your view a bit. At this point you'll ideally be just past 90 degrees of spinning (don't overanalyze the spinning though, first attempt you just want to make sure you get your feet under you before you land). Once you're upside down, you're on the home stretch so get ready for the stomp. The knuckle/top of the landing will reappear fast as your feet come back under you -- and now you're landing.
In short: throw the rotation forward and across your body (leading with one of your shoulder), notice the knuckle start to disappear as you go fully upside down and prepare for touchdown, wait for the knuckle/landing to quickly reappear under you (happens fast), then stomp the landing.
