Old name or different tricks?

I recently find some trick names from 10 years ago. I'm wondering if they are just some old-fashion names, or they are different tricks than what I think. For example:

Kangaroo flip, it looks like a double misty 9 to me.
Pistol flip --- double rodeo 9.
DJ flip --- double cork 12.
Wilson flip --- I didn't find a video for that, but according to the description, it's like a double cork 10

Some refers Kangaroo flip as a double flatspin, I haven't figured the difference between a flatspin and a misty.

Can someone tell me if I'm right or wrong?

I think it's because the skiing community started out so small, so naturally, when the first person did a double flatspin 9 and named it a "kangaroo flip" everyone else also referred to a double flat 9 as this. However as the skiing community expanded, the names couldn't keep up, for example, say someone in Europe did a dub flat 9. not knowing that this is called a "kangaroo flip" they instinctively called it a "double flatspin 9".
idk if this made sense I'm also on mobile and very high

kang flip is dub rodeo/flat spin 9, not even close to being misty

Misty is a forwards rotation (forwards version of rodeo). Flatspin is backwards and often confused with rodeo.

I consider flatspin and rodeo the same trick. When I started park skiing in 06/07 flatspin was a pipe trick and rodeo was on jumps. At least when I learned

Yeah, you guys are right. Kangaroo is a dub rodeo 9, while pistol is a dub misty 9.

I understand them as:
head in front of the skis --- rodeo,
head to the side --- misty,
head behind the skis --- cork.
