I'm selling my pair of 181 Icelantic Nomad RKRs. They've had about 15-20 days on them this season and have seen a little more damage than I'd hoped they would at this point, but they're still in really nice condition.
Condition: 7/10
The topsheets are in great condition, very minimal chipping. The edges are in really good condition, still super sharp and hold an edge really well. The bases have seen some wear. There are two small/medium core shots that I filled with P Tex. They are both underfoot, one on each ski. The first core shot is about 2.5in in length but is pretty skinny. This hit took the base out to the wood, but there was no core damage to the wood. The second core shot is much smaller, but is located along the edge of the ski. The P Tex that I filled it with appears to have been bad since it cracked out in the cold, but I'm sure they could be re-filled. The first shot is not really an issue because it's so clean and didn't affect the ski. The second hasn't been a problem yet, but another hit to a rock could cause an edge break since it lines the edge. This could be prevented if it is filled with better P Tex again. These core shots and other base scratching are something to be wary of, but I have not noticed a difference in how the ski rides since I've gotten them.
These skis are a great pair, they'll really get you anywhere you need to go and charge really hard. I've been on a much softer ski for a lot of this season and I'm trying to find something a little more playful for a new powder/all-mountain ski, this one is pretty still. They'll hold an edge and rail at high speeds and you don't have to worry about it giving out on you. I've been on the Nomad for almost 5 years now, and I love them, just trying some new stuff out.
