hey NS, ive always wondered if there are many skiers, if any, that also lift or body build or do personal training/crossfit. I have begun my journey to get 'swoll as fuck'. if anyone else on this site is any of the above I would like to know. imo the average skier isn't much of a bulky or built guy/gal.
I lift with my football team 4 days a week (2 leg days 2 upper days). Ive had a string of injuries this last year so ive really stepped up my commitment to avoid getting hurt, not everyone sees the value in it, but i do. go for it broha, nothing bad about trying to get stronger
I mostly just do small weights, push ups, curls etc etc so that I have some form of a muscular body and I don't do any legs because skiing takes care of that.
But curious, to any serious heavy lifters on NS,how do you feel that having a mad swole body, does it help you in skiing or disadvantage you?
Old park manager used to slay at park, but now owns some crossfit gyms and thats all he does. He said park is much harder now that he has large muscles. I don't really understand it though since he can jump like 2/3 of his height.
