john18061806All that advice is from annual trips in March. I've skied it in slush, ice, 30mph winds, -20 degrees to 50 degrees. The most fun thing at lutsen is just cruising the groomers at highway speeds and boosting side hits, rollers, and drop offs. Just make sure you don't fly into a kid. There's a side hit on the left side of the split rock chute that you can send really big, it's right under the chair too so you can put on a show. Experts cutoff on eagle is a great run, avoid the bridge chair around 2-4pm at all costs. Don't go to the top of mystery mountain unless you like skating and a long chair ride, get off midway and hit the boarder cross course (IT IS SO FUN). Moose access works to get over to moose, don't dare try moose return unless you can carve like an Olympic GS skier, there's a sharp turn and you have to hit it around 30-40 to have enough speed to get back. Moose mountain is the most fun though, the chalet on moose is expensive but the view on the deck is well worth the price you pay for food.
