Park Etiquette

I just posted this in the C.C.R. cult, but i want to share my story and moral of story with all of you too.

I just want to share with you what happens when you dont wait for someone to finish hitting a feature befor you try and hit it, Or you cut someone off on the way to a feature.

I was at tremblant thisafternoon and i was having an amazing day despite a spraned ankel. I was getting switch on to boxes, natural, unatural, switch off... i was having an awesome time. I went to hit the Rainbow box, i was waiting with a group of people, I called droping, i looked behind me and no one else was going so i figured i was in the clear. I got onto the box without enough speed and didnt make it all the way to the top.
I started to slide back down the box, stuck and fell backwards and to the right. My ski hit the blue stick beside the box and poped off right infront of the box's takeoff.

Then the A-hole on a snowboard came through. He tried to avoide my ski, but still hit it. I saw it as a blue but i imediatly checked my edges to see if they were ok. They were, i was relived. I looked around to see where the snowboarder had gone so i could yell at him or at least get an apology for runnin over my ski. He was nowhere insite.

another snowboarder with a camera saw me looking and pointed to the otherside of the box where i coudnt see. I thought the snowboarder had whiped out, so i started to walk around the box to see what kinda shape he was in and makesure he was alright befor i yelled at him. As i moved around the box and more of what was hidden came into site, i saw not a snowboarder on the ground, but half of the nose peice of my scratch 140 bindings.

I looked back at my ski, not beliveing what i had seen, and sure enough half the the nose was gone.

What pisses me off the most isnt that my binding is fucked, but that the snowboarder didnt even stop to apologize after following me into a feature, or even not hitting it after it was obvious that i was falling.

Please, everyone, Be courtious in the park and dont act like your next hit on somthing will be the last, It wont be. Dont risk ruining someone elses ability to ski, or your own by being an A-hole on the hill.
