Hey NS, got a big favor for you all. I am signed on Salt Lake City Fire Departments team for the Fight For Air climb at the end of the month. This is a big fundraiser for the American Lung association.

This event involves donning all our gear, and racing up 20 stories worth of stairs.

I'm also trying to raise money by donation. This is where NS can help me out!

As an incentive [bribe] I'll be offering prizes (such as stickers, shirts, and hats) to the largest donation, as well as sticker prizes to every person who donates! If you've seen my chairlift and snowcat stickers, they will definitely be included.

Right on. I started off as an intern, Paid on Call, and volunteered at another department.

My advice is, test early, test often, and test everywhere.

Since you only got 2 donations online and one of them is mine, I'm pretty sure I'm the only NSer to have donated. Whilst I didn't do it for any recognition or the prize a personal thank you wouldn't have gone a miss. I spent 8 years working full time as a firefighter in the 5th largest brigade in the world...but since I'm a pinkname I guess that's less interesting than the guy above who shouted out to his 'fellow brothers'.

Anyway, I hope the stair climb was a success and your team managed to raise $$$ for the Lung Associated. Stay safe out there!
