Armada bdog, moment vice, on3p kartel 98? what to choose

looking for a new park ski. currently im riding 176 filthy riches with marker griffons. i like my on3ps they are a pretty good ski. but ive ridden them for twelve days and they have two edge cracks and one edge has a small space between it and the sidewall. not sure if this is considered a blown sidewall or an early stage of one. im pretty sure this is my fault as i read that they were detuned on the tip and tail and for some reason thought they also detuned underfoot. the end result was that. but anyways im gonna but a new pair of skis so ill have something to ride when these break. im about 5'10 and 170 pounds i ski 120 plus days a year and ride 65% rails 35% jumps. i like the way the filthy riches handle they are a little stiff for my taste and a little heavy but the swing weight is not crazy bad and keep in mind i do have griffons on their to. so these three skis are my choices. i will be mounting them with a pair of rossignol fks 140's. im not really sure on camber and what it does exactly as my on3ps dont have much and my k2 domains that i rode were pretty worn out (I bought them used) so i prefer rocker right now but i dont have much experience with camber and the benefits of it. anyways price is not a huge concern just want something durable and somewhat like my filthy riches. i do like a ski that is bigger underfoot and as symmetrical as possible. i ski pretty hard and have i live in wisconsin so i ride on a lot of ice so thick edges is a must. what are you guys thoughts on my picks? any other opinions or suggestions? ant input would be great!

also on3p prester maybe? btw i usually ride a bit longer ski between 170 and 180

had a friend who had the 2012-13 danollies and he destroyed them.not sure if its a durabilty issur or if he just had bad luck

Came to reccomend the Razyrblades... They're supposed to rock. The Kartels are great as well, I have the 106s and they're my favorite ski

Duckonquackhad a friend who had the 2012-13 danollies and he destroyed them.not sure if its a durabilty issur or if he just had bad luck


They have a 2 year no questions asked warranty so he should have taken advantage of that. Probably got unlucky cause they're a durable ski.

From my shop experience, every brand manufactured by Neversummer is super hit or miss. There were skis/boards with terrible edge fitment, missing tip fill, or just large segments of super railed base that had somehow passed QC. On the other hand, a good friend of mine has an ancient neversummer board that has been through hell and back that is still somewhat flat for a snowboard, and gets ridden every other day. If you're looking at Icelantics, I would strongly encourage looking at the exact pair you're planning on before purchasing if at all possible.

Did not know that. Guess if I get icelantics ever I'll buy em in person. Nevertheless, I've heard nothing bad about the warranty tho.

if you like your filthy riches why not get another pair? they're an awesome ski. while the kartel is billed as a park ski, it's not symmetrical, and the prester is full camber, not rockered at all. if it aint broken, so to speak, don't fix it.

wanna try out some different skis and ive got a good deal on some moment vices and i also heard some good things about the bdogs. ive only skied for two years and the filthy riches are my second skis ive owned so while i do like them i wanna try some other companies

Demo if you can as well. Never fun to buy a ski and not like it, all of those skis should be fun tho. But seriously look into the kitten factory skis. As they might not be well known they're a killer ski

I just scooped a set of Bdogs but haven't ridden them yet. I won't until next season, but if you like the AR50 it's the same feel just softer.

Isn't ar50 a type of construction armada uses? Not a ski?
