I would go fatter fo sure if this will be your only ski. Great park and pow. I haven't skied either but have skied the Made'n AKs and they are sick everywhere (even carving) so I would go with the Seth.

If you live somewhere where you would enjoy the extra float of a Pistol, go for it. Don't be affraid of the size, people jib on them all the time, check out Focused, Volume 9, or Yearbook to see Turpin, Pep and Abma do their thing in a park on those skis.
