How much has NS taught you..

so before i made an account here on ns i was a total noob (and i still am). i knew nothing about gear, and just skiing in general. but really how much has NS taught you? for me ive honestly learned so much. whether its choosing the correct binding, picking a durable ski, or getting custom footbeds, i learned it all on this website. if i wouldnt have gotten an ns account i would most likely be riding carving skis with crappy fitting boots and super long poles. heck, some of my classmates didnt even know what "sluff" was in big mtn skiing. now im progressing and having a blast shredding with the gang. basically im just having a tender moment and appreciating what ns has taught me. jah feel? or am i just being a tool?







p.s. - biggest thing i learned.... future spin and get paid..

Newschoolers has taught me that I'm apparently Asian and that I like buttstuff.


No but for real before I found out about newschoolers I only really knew what an average skier would know. Regarding my skiing itself, I hangout with a lot of snowboarders and never really called tricks the right thing. Never distinguished between front and blind 2s. I never really appreciated big mountain/ pow skiing until I got to see some edits on here and now I realize its pretty fuckin gnarly. I didn't have a clue who half of the sickest skiers out there were. All I knew was what I saw on tv but thank god that changed pretty fast. THere's probably so much more that I just can't think of right now. But I'd say newschoolers has changed and completely reshaped my perspective on a lot of things for the better and I've met/skiied with some really dope people. NS is awesome.

Mingg taught me that I like Asians who like buttstuff.


On a more serious note, ns has taught me that I really suck at skiing, it has also helped me progress through numerous how to threads. It has also been a place to.relax after long days of skiing or school.

NS taught me that there are other people on this planet who actually love skiing as much as I do. I often feel that most of the people I ski with really aren't passionate about skiing, but here everyone loves it and it is just a great community to be a part of.

It also taught me that saga and Full tilt for skiers are like Nike shocks to a 6th grader. If you don't own them, you are lame.

I also learned that I am lame because I don't own any saga or full tilt stuff.
