BeefSistaExactly, i feel completely ready and i'm not some grom that wants to huck a crazy ass trick out of nowhere. I'm just wondering if any of the more advanced skiers on NS could provide tips on commitment, or setting it off a ski jump as it is different than a tramp.
Dont know why people are being d-bags. Plenty of tricks to this trick that one should know.... First obviously be comfortable with setting switch tricks. There are two issues i used to have occasionally with this trick. 1. Is pre setting 2. popping out and not up.
1. Dont pre set at all with this trick because you can catch a an edge easily (nothing worse than losing the ski right off on a big set like that). So make sure you time your pop to be right after the lip. Obviously this is important with every trick, however with this one its particularly easy to catch an edge/lose a ski.
2. When setting this trick it is sort of an instinct to pop over your shoulders and out away from the jump. However make sure you pop up before you pop out, or you wont properly match the trajectory of the jump, either it will send you too far or knuckle.
Overall i would say just send it, remember to pop up and after the jump, then just imagine switch backflip with some spin. It comes around pretty easily with the right pop.
Luck! let us know how it goes
