So I got shin bang for the first time ever and yes my boot fits and all that. If it does get worse ill go to Inkline in Utah and have them modify my boot, but thats not what this thread is about.
Anyway I've been rolling my shins every night. and also doing these shin stretches. For the next 2-3 days i will be skiing hard on a ski trip. I talked to my Sports Medicine teacher at school and he told me theres nothing I can really do at the moment, but he told me about the "sandwich bag trick". Ive only heard of it briefly once before but i didn't have shin bang then so it didn't concern me. Basically you are supposed to take some zip loc sandwich bags, cut off the seal, and place between socks and liner of boots on your shins and it absorbs some of the friction which causes shin bang.
So does this work? also any extra quick tips to relieve the bang for the next couple of days? thanks.
