Whats the best summer drop in design?

I have a setup with a tower 10ft tall (made of metal) and then a nice ramp with nearly 19ft of pvc to slide. Worked great until the 65mph winds of southeastern Idaho blew the down ramp over and ripped my setup to pieces. Once you have your setup built make sure it's anchored good

Think about building a high drop in with a steep drop but smooth trannys. Everything needs to maximise speed as that will be your biggest issue.

I think the most important things a drop in should have are height, smooth transitions, and a steep angle up top.

Mine is 5 feet tall and it has mSnow on it.

when me and my friend first made our drop in i t was way to abrupt and fast make sure that it is smooth and has moderate speed also an easy way to get back to the top is rather important

Thays how my one was built - I could get endless PVC but astro turf was expensive. I have a slightly smaller diameter bit of pvc inside a larger diameter bit. The smaller diameter bit is pretty much drilled into timber rails on each side that join it all together. To be honest, without greasing the middle of the two regularly, they dont roll. However, it still works great for speed in conjunction with a smooth astro turf transistion - about 2m high at at about 30 degrees.

I havent needed to, but if you really need speed you can add some handles to the top of your drop in that allow you to push off as you drop in.

This is my baby fresh built.

Works great, it even has an adjustable take off ramp.

My advice: make it with smooth transitions, and good height (Maybe 6-7 feet)
