Eastern.Skierbecause mfm and his crew guard the gulch like both koreas guard the DMZ.
Master_drifterMfM?
yungsteezebro seriously? the notorious marc frank montoya of the mack dawg crew? hell fuck you up i swear
Brocka_FlockaI hope you enjoy flat landings and traverses.
Eastern.SkierI heard chads gap used to be near the parking lot at the bottom of alta. It was huge but I was told ski patrol blew it up. You can venture on your own but be careful because mfm and his crew guard the gulch like both koreas guard the DMZ.
CapernicusGo to Beaver Creek instead...seriously.
AnGaperHalf of these kids on here only say negative shot because they've hopped on the 'Vail is the enemy,' band wagon. Here's the straight shit. Vail is a kickass mountain if you're not stupid with how you ski, seriously. I've been skiing here since I was 1. I've never had a problem with speeding tickets, or any other bs people rip on them for. They're honestly given an awful reputation for how fun of a mountain it is. Back to the point, YES, there are definitely some good natural hits and cliffs around the hill.
Underneath Lion's head gondola there are some gnarly hits usually
Ask a local about the 'Min turn mile.' It's essentially a 7 mile long tree run that runs into the next town. The entrance has a good hill that you could build a booter in. It's at most 200 feet from the nearest trail.
I've skied this same line for 10 years. Take the lions head gondola up, follow the underneath, then head into the trees next to chair 8, which is below the gondola. It has a quarter mile long stretch of trees with cliffs/drops that lead into the Bwana Terrain park.
Mid vail cliffs never disappoint.
Unless you're a resurrected jamie Pierre, don't ask about vail BC.
Have fun while you're out here.
