So I wanna try this sexy beast of a trick. I can 3 and 5 and have attempted lincolns and mistys. From what I understand, the easiest way for a pussy like me to do the trick (I spin right) would be to carve right on the kicker, drop my right shoulder a little bit, tuck up my knees and try to grab left safty. Anything else you guys can tell me about executing the trick before I land this fucker? I need this since I've focused on rails all year and I need to start progressing on jumps.

Everything you described sums it up. Just go for it and see what happens. If it's coming around to 5 just let it happen, don't fight it, that's what happened on my first real attempt at a cork 3, ended up stomping a textbook cork 5. But then I ragdolled because it was into 10" of fresh snow on an untouched park jump.

Exactly how you said it.... Otherwise pretend there's a wall that you have to plant your heels on, that makes sure you bring your feet up.

I find it easier if i throw my leg up opposite to the shoulder you drop to set it off axis

I was carving hard as fuck into the jump and I slipped out right at the lip. I tried going for a hand drag but I put too much weight on my shoulder too fast and I have a minor fracture in my shoulder now. (Sadface) Im gonna try to sharpen the contact points on my skis now, but keep the area underfoot dull.

Just learned them this season and they are sooo much fun!

keep your knees tucked even if you don't grab keep your knees tucked or you typically get sent into a really wierd rotation.

don't open up to early you'll probably feel really wierd in the air and you won't think it's coming around but as long as you carve hard off the lip and set it right it will come around just be patient.

Thanks a lot guys for all the help so far. The jump I'll be trying it off of is a little over 25 feet to the sweet spot. I think that's pretty ideal. I already died this year overrotating a misty 7 so the way I see it, anything I fuck up on here can't go any worse. Super stoked to try this trick!
