Does your saga coat do this?

so i got a monarch from last years sales. i really love it. waterproof, breathable, perfect. im just wondering if anyone elses zippers fray bad like mine. not a big deal at all, mainly just wondering. it just is kind of a pain when i go to zip up they just shred themselves even more.

apply tape, glue, something simple to fix it? Wax them? waxed hockey laces last nicely.

We did notice this issue on last seasons outerwear. The problem has been corrected. To solve your immediate problems you can take a lighter and singe the ends of frayed pull tabs.

Not hating on Saga or anything, think they're a great company and all, but if something like this happened at J skis he'd probably ship anyone with the problem new zippers. Also, not sure i'd want to burn the zippers on my expensive ski jacket? (I know Saga is a lot bigger but still, customer service applies...)

It's not the zipper that's failing. It's simply the cloth pull tab attached to the zipper that's unraveling. if you've ever had a shoe lace fray you will know what we mean when we are talking about burning the ends.

This might be the stupidest comparison I've ever heard, its a frayed zipper, not a ski with de-lamination problems or deffective edges.

Dang, are you that privileged? It's a zipper fabric. Stuff frays, it's just a cheap pull tab.
If you set your coat on fire singeing your tab, then there's just no hope.

To OP, it's nothing to worry about. Not a defect or anything, just the nature of the fabric. Happens to me on many different things,
