Fruitboot PVC Rails

me n my bud made one a year or two ago, works really well. basically just screwed a 10ft pvc to a long 2x4

We had a little practice downrail of galvanized steel pipe. We just used a 90 degree fitting on one end and put a T on the bottom to prop up one end. It was mini but great for at home when you can't have a real session.

If I wanted to use PVC I would probably build a box out of wood and use PVC for coping. But if you are doing that angle iron is probably better.

I watched a video a while back where instead of setting the wood vertically you kinda make an a formation /\ like that and put the rail on top making a good solid rail and makes you tip your leg a little so it teaches you how to lock into rails

A frame support, wooden dowel inside the pvc (expensive but worth it especially if it's cold the pvc cracks easily). metal supports to hold the a frame in. then metal brackets banged into place. and L metal brackets to hold the support. Here's a video of my rails that you'll be able to pause and see. they lasted forever through winter and thousands of sessions. The flat bar was the worst cause it didn't have a single support beam but instead stacks which you'd trip over. pre drill all the screw holes.

I used to fruit boot but now they are just up for sale on NS. Those good ol size 12.5 fruit boots were always turning heads

Anybody have basic plans for an a frame style rail? I think something like that would best fit my neeeds
