Spot for Backcountry booter

I am going to vail and Beaver creek in 2 weeks and was wondering if anyone knew a good spot for a booter or jump that I could throw my first Backie on. Doesn't necessarily be all the way in the backcountry but wanted a spot for some soft snow to land on. Thanks.
