Critique my edit!

make your edit tell a story. introduce the setting, and the characters.

while you had a shot of the chairlift at the beginning the song had a lot of room for more varied b roll - not the same stuff everyone else uses. get creative and vary your shots.

you just jumped around between different days and different people, not sure who they were, or why you chose the order you did. you need to have some form of organization - feature, person,day something that makes sense otherwise you leave your audience confused. jumping between night and day is especially bad.

i dont want to sound mean or be a dick, but the tricks could really use some work. A LOT of work. im sure there are a few really good (or better) skier at your local hill. Ask them if you can film them. most skiers i know are stoked to have someone film. because really no one wants to watch people just slide rails. i think the biggest trick in there was 270 out? nothing memorable. just ask, worst thing they can say is no, and best case you meet a new friend.

as far as filming goes, maybe get a bit closer. other than that everything was steady and color was great.

THIS WAS FUCKING SICK! I dig it!, the music was on point.


But actually, music is the make or break and you made it. Shots could have been aimed a little higher to get the head of the skier in the shot, and maybe a few long shots with a tele but other than that, hats off to you my friend.

honestly i liked it. others may disagree, but i liked it. my only thing to say is to use maybe a color correction as some of color looked a little washed out/faded. other than that it was sick!
