Stupid question (maybe), but I don't know if I've ever seen it asked. If so, sorry.
So, you know you are going to eat shit and you have limited time - rail or jump. What should you be trying to do with legs, arms - What to think about and what strategies - penguin slide, etc. to reduce bad going to worse.
Maybe a few scenarios -
1) Catching edge on rail
2) Clearing knuckle, but under/overrating
3) Flat out not enough speed and decking
or anything else that makes sense.
