GoPro 2 vs. GoPro 3

Me and my boy are looking to get some footy this weekend. I have the GoPro 2 right now and was wondering if there would be any benefits of upgrading to the GoPro 3.
Note: the benefits of upgrading have to exceed the cost of the new camera. Thanks

the hero 3 is better than the 2 (duh) but it's not worth upgrading

I have a 3 and its alot better then the 2, also mine i have for sale and I ski at sunapee a bunch and could meet you there

Hero 3 is exponentially better than hero 2, worth the upgrade. Hero 4 is another step up but the leap in video quality between the 2 and 3 is pretty insane.

Depends, the HERO 3 Black Edition is way, way better than the HERO 2. However, the difference between the HERO 3 White Edition is less noticeable.

Go with the HERO 3 Black, if you aren't wanting the HERO 4..
