so ive been really getting my spins down but everytime i try for a grab, no matter what the grab is, it throws my spin off and makes my landings look like shit if i even land. are their any tips that will help me not throw off my rotation while getting a nice grab?
Don't reach for the grab right off of the lip, pulls your legs up for the grab once you set your rotation. If your throw in a safety in a 360 go for the grab at 180 not right off the bat. Do a few runs without your poles, it is pretty helpful
don't think about the grab, bring your legs up and don't move your torso around.
if you concentrate on just the grab you will not finish the spin and it will end up being a lot worse than if you concentrate on the spin and then let the grab come.
you aren't going to be holding the grab for very long when you first learn grabs. It's a process, don't rush it a lot or you're gonna mess up more than you should.
