Replying to East Coast Ski purchasing
I live In vermont. I ski jay peak every weekend and I log about 50 days a year. I'm looking for a new pair of shred sticks. I'm 5'8 160 lbs and i like to ski fast and hard all day. moguls, chunder, buff, glop, powder, park, groomers, steeps, trees. everything. I currently ride on rossignol sickle and moment deathwish. the deathwishes to me where a little slidey and sketchy to ski really fast on hardpack/variable conditions. They where good in powder, but if its not fresh, they don't quite meet my needs. the sickles on the other hand have more of the traditional sidecut feel and right amount of girth. The only problem with my sickles is that they're a little too small for me (171) i'm looking for something in the 173-180cm ski. prefer something fatter than 103mm at the waist but nothing wider than 115m.
I ski competitively on the Ski the east freeride tour and i need something that will charge hard almost everyday of the year. I've been looking at Faction CT 3.0, Faction 3.zero, Line supernatural 115, Nordica Patron, Salomon Q-115,
Any ideas of what skis i should really look into for everyday east coast?
