I am 5'6'. I ski 50% groomed, 20% powder and 30% park. I need twin tips that are the best bang for the buck. under $300. I was thinking of k2 public enemy's. Suggestions? what are your favourites

yeah the prophets are like $950......the public enemies will be a bit over $300....if u really need a ski under $300 get the fujative....but if u can wait a little and earn $80 then wait and buy the publics...it will be worth the wait..

Fugitives will probably be too noodly for you. like the others said, see if you can find a way to pick up the extra little bit for the PE's.

Oh by the way, I only skiied 3 days. I skiboard really well though: 3 seasons. So I guess my first twin tips shouldn't be too stiff right?

^ dude that a sweet deal at sportsden.com. The only thing is that they only come in 169 cm. If you're used to ski boarding and not that great of a skiier those might be a little long for you. But i'd buy them if i needed skis.

That's a bit short... I suggest spending more and getting Karmas.

i have PEs for my first set of twins and theyre great. they are great for everything. today i demo'd some fujatives and i was suprised at how well they ski'd. i also demo'd some karmas but wasnt that impressed especially for how much they cost...but it may just be cause theyre demos. i would say go for some PE's and if you cant find a good deal on em just wait and save up money for the 05-06's
