ive been planning to go to jackson for years now with the single goal of checking corbets couloir off of my bucket list. i remember first seeing a video of corbets when i was 7 and thinking "oh my god that is insane i will never be good enough to do that". but i grew and became an exponentially better skier than i was as a young kid, and now that i have the means to actually complete this task i realize it doesn't actually look that amazing anymore. ive watched countless videos over the past couple of weeks of person after person, pro after pro hitting corbets trying to convince myself that its worth using the money ive saved since i was just a kid to go to jackson next year but i find that id rather fly up to revelstoke or even japan instead as the trips would actually be cheaper and lets be honest here its fucking revelstoke or japan. the whole purpose of my trip to jackson would be to ski corbets and while i will do it at some point in my life for sure. as an 18 year old kid with the long collected funds to actually make one of these trips, is corbets really all that hard to ski. because when i watch all these amazing vids of people hitting it i just dont feel wowed anymore.
tdlr is corbets couloir realy
