Another what binding thread

What's good NS, I'm lookin for a new pair of bindings.

I'm 6'2", 185 lbs and I ski 25% park 75% all mtn.

I've been thinking fks 160/180, aaatack 16/18, along those lines.

I'm a fairly aggressive skier and weight isn't that much of an issue. Cheers!

Look at this! A person that might actually NEED the FKS 180. Holy shit, I went to Waterville in NH last weekend and there was a USSA slopestyle comp. A bunch of young kids no taller than 5'8", no heavier than 160. Every single ski was mounted with FKS 180s. God, to be a spoiled little kid again. A fucking $400 binding with a DIN range they'll never use. /rant.

I'm 6'2" 215 and ride an FKS 120. Seriously, I don't require anything more than that. DIN is set at 10. I'm not a "fat" 215 either. Without sounding like a d-bag, I'm a lean 215 and have very strong, big legs. I put a lot of force into the ski and really don't need anything more than a 120.

probably a safe bet. I'm on the 120 because it's cheaper and I'm really not pushing my gear to it's absolute limits these days. The more injured I become, the more docile my skiing becomes.

I was kidding. There is no 160. FKS12/14/18 only. 155 if you find some old race stock.

sth2 13 or fks 14 are excelente bindings, fsk 14 is more like a sth2 16

Sometimes you can buy fsk 180 for cheap ona great deal, if you are gonna pay retail price get the 14/140 or sth2 13

Like said a lot of people talk about the 18/180 but that's more like their ego than their needs!

all my bindings are solomon because I like their bindings and I have sth driver 12, driver 14, sth2 13, sth2 16 so I pretty much buy whatever I find a great deal, since I'm not gonna break any of these bindings anyway!

fks 180/pivot 18 have the metal toe but you don't have the vertical release but it's not like you have a big chance to break the toe on the 14/140

Go with the Attack/Peak/Deadbolt/Mojo 15/16/18. Probably more than what you need, but you can usually find them super cheap.

I agree most of those kids don't need them, but a few of those kids (have only seen 140s when I compete except for the odd one out with 180s) slay and definitely throw down enough to have them without anybody beeing able to say anything about it

Not saying they don't slay, it's just not economical.
