It's real! Its 6 times as powerful, packing a 1ghz processed and 1 gig of ram.

Ever checked out the Jetson TK1? 64-bit quad core. It features the Tegra K1.

Another cool SOC dev board manufacturer is ODROID. They have a nice little ~2Ghz(2.2?) octa-core that runs Linux nicely.
