Hey everybody long time no post but it's time to fix my quiver and the options these days are pretty insanely wide--just want to get some opinions and start looking in the right direction.
Me: 5'10", 180, 70% freeride/fast charging and 30% playful/poppy skiing on natural terrain. If a ski can drop into a park and hold up at the same time that would be pretty cool too.
Looking for 100-110 ish waist width, 188 is my perfect length but can go a few cm in either direction. Right now the top choice is a 4fnt devastator but I haven't had a chance to flex them yet--toying with the idea of a full reverse camber ski like that one or a gotama.
Currently ski a 191 Rocker 2 122 for pow and a 188 JJ mounted up for touring (probably looking to sell/rethink this rig too).
Just came off a pair of 110 ON3P Jeffries I got hooked up with, but the damn airline ran them over and crushed the shovels--so looking for a similar stick for general purpose/all mountain riding (ON3P still a serious contender, I loved those sticks the few times I got to ski them, but the Jeffrey saw a big change this year).
I ski A LOT of different resorts around the country for work, and when I'm occasionally dumped somewhere that has variable/shitty snow or only a park scene it would be cool to have a fun playful ski that's not going to be overkill, but can still charge if I want to throttle up.
Hope this kinda makes sense, I know there are a shitload of skis in the category right now that play to a lot of different tastes so I'm just looking to get ideas right now.
Any help appreciated!
