Been looking into getting a new pair of skis. For reference...I ski at Stratton 90% of the time and venture to other mountains / out west once a year on occasion. I am a very strong skier been skiing since 2 and have a racing background so I love going fast and putting my skis on the edge hard...this has been leading me to my ski conflicts.
I currently have a pair of race/carving skis for icy days.
I also have been riding Surface Watchlifes for the past 4 years. I love the ski to death and they are great for southern VT on most days. They struggle a bit in crud / deeper snow which is why I want wider skis. I love surface but it seems that all their new skis have a ton of rocker which I really don't want.
I'm not a huge gearhead but am looking for a ski with 100-105 mm waste, some rocker, but also something that has camber for holding an edge on groomers still. I also don't have a budget and can spend wahtever. Any suggestions?
