Elan puzzle TBT?

Has anyone tried the elan puzzle tbt? I haven't really seen anything about them besides chris laker riding them.

I had a friend try them at an élan ski demo day. He said the tbt is really noticeable and makes it hard to get the turn initiated

My roomie rides chainsaws, he really likes them and they have held up pretty well this season. No experience with the puzzles though, im personally not confident in three base technology.
