I am 6'2", 150 lbs. I ride park, hit all the rails do some backflips and flatspins and cool stuff like that. I also love cruisin around. Currently riding the 2013 volkl wall which I LOVE. Any suggestions?
Well Volkl Walls are a medium-stiff full camber ski so other skis that are a similar shape and flex and have good durability include:
Armada AR7, ON3P Prestor, and Fischer Nightsticks.
I rode my AR7's constantly in park year round for over a year and a half and they only got two edge cracks, excellent durability. They're still skiable.
ON3P uses the thickest edges and bases which makes them last super long.
Fischer Nightsticks has a soft sidewall apparently which absorbs a lot of impact and makes them less prone to edge cracks and pull outs. I have a friend who abuses his and they still seem to be in good condition.
If you loved the Walls, then I would suggest the nightsticks. They also carve amazingly well. I have used armada skis of all kinds (AR6, AR7, Thall, Halo 2, etc) and I can definitely say while they do carve well for a park oriented ski ( and exeptionally well with the cap design near the tips/tails) they don't match up to the carving performance of a park ski like the Nightstick which has a race background.
ON3P I can't comment on since I have only seen them never ridden.
