Anybody else ski without gloves/mittens/hand condoms when it's not like three degrees? I hate stuff on my hands. I can grip poles better and if I'm cold I just shove my hands in my pockets. Am I fucking insane?

Oh hell nah I tried it on one warm (50+) day and by the end of the session it looked like I'd fisted a coil of barbed wire. Snow and ice can fuck you up good if you aren't careful

Only when it's 35+ and sunny. Gotta be extra careful on the rails when you truck drive or when you hand drag anything.

I didn't wear my mitts for about 10 seconds and I ninja-cut my thumb on my edge because they'd just been sharpened. Pretty sure I've got blood over my jacket after not realising.

OP I prefer no gloves as well, except I ski a rope on the reg. If its warm and relatively not busy I'll go for it, neeeed that speed to get back on the rope without wrecking my palms
