I would just like to thank the entire Newschoolers community, on behalf of Jonny, for all of your support. Jonny has made a medical recovery that none of the doctors or medical experts could have predicted. He is out of ICU and ready to be moved down to a hospital closer to the University of Denver campus today and is ready to watch the Hawks kick some ass.
This thread is mostly to thank everyone who has supported Jonny and his family through posts, video messages, care packages, etc. I would also like to give a HUGE shout out to Lethal Decent for sending him a brand new suit. I would also like to say thank you to Bobby Brown taking the time to send a care package even with X Games going on.
It is amazing how a community can rally around someone after something like this happens. Keep praying and once again, thank you Newschoolers.

Really great to hear this. Such a scary and unfortunate situation. You look at it and think how it could have been prevented, but everything you said noted it could not. Just a freak, awful situation for the kid. Best to him.

Couldn't be more stoked. So crazy seeing pictures of Jonny on CaringBridge sitting without any medical equipment hooked up. Prayers/vibes seem to have came through.
