Washing ski boot liners?

i have full tilts w/ intuition liners, over the past couple weeks they have started to smell absolutely rank after skiing in the rain. would they wash? Is there another way to get rid of the smell and i assume fungi in them?
or should i just get new boot liners? if its any help i got these boots used 3 years ago and i take the liners out every time after skiing.

Make sure you take out your liners EVERY time after skiing. This airs them out. Airing them out gets rid of stink, moisture, and some other stuff. Airing them out also lets them "puff" up from being inside the shell with your foot packed in there all day. Once in a while ill febreeze my boots, but thats it. My boots smell fine if i air them out, dry them with a hair dryer, and febreeze every so often.

Woah sorry for the double post but I'm on mobile and it didn't show the second part where you said you take out your liners. Sorry for that. Id still try some frebreezing and drying tho, and Im not sure if theres a good way to wash those things. 3 hard years of use could be it, maybe time for some new liners.

Maybe try some of those like sneaker balls things that you can put in your shoes to freshen them.

i used the hair dryer after that rainy day the problem i think is that i went out in the morning in the rain came back home for lunch to get out of the wet, chilled for a few hours, my boots didnt fully dry and i went back out cause it got sunny, the next few days it was supper warm and my boots still hadn't dried each morning, i also dry my boots out on my heated bathroom floor, dunno if that makes a difference, also not sure if i should be using a hair drier, or putting them on the heated floor etc because it could distort them?

Heated floors won't actually dry the boot like the hair dryer, but its better than nothing. And the febreeze is basically just gonna take the smell away. Id recommend hair dryer. I usually just ski on the weekends so they air out over the week, but if I'm skiing a couple days in a row, a hair dry each night.

Clean merino wool socks will solve all of your issues. Never ever wear synthetic ski socks. Never had an issue with boots since I swapped to SIDAS and Phd smart wool.

It sounds like you need new liners. 3 years of use is way beyond what intuitions liners can do.

If you still want to try to save them get some clorox anti bacterial spray. If that doesn't work and you come down to your final option (have the money and time for new liners before you try) I would get a bucket of water and make a very mellow bleach dilute then dip your liners in then let them dry in front of a fan.

Baking soda+ dryer sheets shoved inside your liners can work as a last ditch attempt too (one or two in each boot should work fine).

It's always my go to for getting rid of odors

I mean, it depends how often he skis them every winter so not necessarily....
