Anyone know anything about Adams State University, Grand Mesa university, or Fort Lewis College? Lookin for info about academics, campus feel, partying, and closest skiing.

I'm a student at Fort Lewis right now. It's an awesome location and rad part of the state with some solid programs.
The administration is fucking the school up though. Administrative bloat is through the roof and a lot of the departments suffer for that. They also waste mad amounts of student money trying to support a shitty, shitty football program. Just some things to consider.

Adams State isn't near anything good except the aligator farm
Mesa is a couple hours to aspen, an hour to powderhorn (which isn't great)
Ft Loser is close to durango mntn resort (which isn't great)
THere are a few other choices if youre looking for a cheaper school in colorado
Western State Colorado University is about 40 minutes from Crested Butte
And CMC has locations in Breckenridge, Steamboat and Leadville (not too far from Copper)
