hey NS,
I've had a pair of full tilt B&Es since about early March of last year. in the past month, the top buckle on my right boot started to fail whenever I'd put any pressure on it. now it doesn't stay tight while skiing, which is incredibly frustrating to ski with as the boot feels too loose. I know the solution is to buy a new buckle, but do they have any sort of warranty or anything for these? I'm not trying to spend 30+ for a boot buckle that (in my opinion) shouldn't have failed in the first place if I don't have to.
I bought them in park city and live in reno, so unfortunately taking them back to the shop I bought them from is out of the question. I took them to a local shop here but they didn't have the buckle part for whatever reason.
should I email full tilt? should I go back to my shop (they are a full tilt dealer) and ask them explicitly to warranty it, like full tilt recommends on their site? or am I SOL on getting these warrantied?
