Cracked boot shell

About a week ago, the half side of my boot cracked. The crack goes from the top side of the shell to the bottos. Is there any kind of glue that I can use to seal the crack and stop it from completely breaking off. I was thinking gorilla glue or rubber cement or antrying that will make it last the rest of the season. They're 2013 seth morrisons

When i unbuckle them there is a gap in between crack

Sorry homie, they are completely dead now. There is no glue or epoxy or anything that will keep your boot together once skiing forces are applied to it. They're toast.

If you are the original owner and have your receipt, take them back to your local FT dealer and try to have them warrantied. It means you'll be out a boot until they replace them (if they are under warranty still) but that's your only bet other than buying new boots.

Take them in and warranty them. Don't try to fix them, they're toast.

^and I'll add that you should definitely NOT ski them in this condition. You will for sure be placing yourself at risk for serious injury.

I never bought these from a shop, they were previously owned. Getting a refund or sending them back is not an option so ill have to make them last for the rest of the season. I don't have the money for new ones so i want to know if anyone has had a similar problem and fixed them. Ive skiied in them once without glue and they felt no different. If there is any type or glue or something to mold the plastic together, please let me know

I'm sorry you don't have money for new boots, I do realize that. But, new boots will be a hell of a lot cheaper than an ambulance ride to the ER. You are running the risk of your boot completely shearing while skiing and it will have the similar effect of your binding toe piece falling off when you least expect it to.

Tell your parents to put new boots on their credit card and you will pay them back somehow, sometime. They don't want to see you get hurt and will hopefully see the implications of skiing with broken gear. Take it from someone who develops ski boots for a living- DO NOT SKI THEM.

To further that point, plastics are generally bad at accepting most common adhesives. Anything you put in there, especially with the cold, will probably not do the job and will separate when flexed. Don't try gorilla glue. If it's of the expanding variety you'll have a large mess to clean up if you use too much.

Although I am a fan of DIY, I'm not going to argue with onenerdykid cause he's like the boot messiah on here. If the crack is as bad as it looks they're done for. They might work for now but they will fail soon. How'd you manage this anyway?

I'm going to add to this.

If your boots fail while ypu are skiing, there is a very good chance your foot will suffer a serious injury when it happens.

Stop by your local used gear store and pick up a cheap pair of old Raichles, and swap your liners into them.

What size boots OP? I might have an old pair somwhere that I could send you for the cost of shipping. Might be some other people here who could do the same if I don't have your size.

Not the greatest boots but will be better than those for the rest of the season.

26.5-27.5 depending on the brand, but if you do that would be awesome. anything just to use for the rest of the season, ill pay whatever you want for them. let me know

Damn my old boots are too small (24.5). :/ I still wear 25.5s and I can't smash my feet into those.

Any big feet out there who outgrew old boots? I'm sure someone has some old cheapies laying around.
