RachyHave you actually watched more than the first 3 episodes? I don't know about the books but....
The only show on TV where there are as strong of female characters is probably The Walking Dead. But on the Game of Thrones they are far more dynamic.
And Daeneyrs?! She's has one of the most badass roles ever given to a female in Television. I'd put her with Mishonne from Walking Dead and Carrie Underwood from House of Cards (although not a particularly likable character).
As far as the rape and incest... most of the characters don't see this in a positive light. The show takes place in the equivalent of the iron age of our world. It was something that happened back then and to pretend otherwise would make the show less believable.
Now if there were just more full frontal male nudity. . . .

Tingayes the time of the dragons and black magic. I miss those days.
Bogezi was really into game of thrones when i watched the first 3 seasons back to back in a week. then watching each episode week by week points out how flawed the series is. there is just too much happening to fit into one hour and nothing happens except they kill the characters they heavy handedly make you like. so it is not only obvious who is going to die but then you are left watching the characters you don't like.
Also the acting is overall pretty terrible minus a few, the story is ridiculous(but that kind of goes with the genre), the production looks cheap and there is so much better content out there to watch.
That said the show is still good for tv and people like it.

CirilloCrushed all four yesterday. I felt a little dirty at first, but I already read the books so the overall story isn't going to be drastically different. Most of the changes so far have just been streamlining the story. Getting rid of some subplots and replacing the characters with ones already introduced.
