yo,
So I just had the idea, which was almsot definitely thought of before, to heat up the ski where you are having delam problems (like the tips) and clamp them back together. THis would reheat the epoxy in theory, and make the skis good as new (not really). Obviously once the ski delams, the structure is permanently weakened, but for the people who are up to date with this stuff, can it work as a more temporary fix? I have some edges that are starting to pull out, and I was thinking of trying this. the edges are barely ripping out, so stopping it sooner, preferably with this technique, would make me quite stoked.
I assume slapping some epoxy in that bitch will help too, but the edges are hard to mess with since they end before the effective edge ends.
thoughts? solutions?
Peace
