Whistler vacation

So I'm going up to whistler this February and was just wondering how the conditions are/have been? Do they usually get a bunch of snow up there? I've never been so I don't know what to expect, all I know is that according to the weather forecast for whistler is that the temperatures are usually above freezing in the village so does this mean it rains a lot on the mountain?

One of the worst winters yet. Its rained to the top multiple times. Ive never seen so little snow in the valley at this time of year.

That really sucks to hear honestly, I think it all comes down to global warming and climate change.

brutal winter, even worse than last year imo which was pretty bad. But things can change and Whis usually gets alot of snow later in the season too

i'll put it to you this way, a shitty day up whis is better than a great day almost anywhere else in my opinion. snow hasn't been great, but shit it's whistler. you'll have a blast

This. Even if they don't have much snow, whistler is the funnest place on earth, and not just because of the skiing.

okay the last 3. those snowfalls don't take into account the rain and the warm temps.

im not there this season but the past few years would go weeks without snow, dump a lot of disgustingly wet snow, then rain and it would melt away.


we definitely need a solid few seasons to bring us out of this slump. and i honestly cant see that happening. look at Cali at the moment...


but to OP, even if it hasnt snowed in weeks, as long as its not raining, whis is better than most other resorts on a good day. if it is raining, theres always something going in the village.
