Where to move in Salt Lake?

Looking to move to Utah soon and looking for places to look into renting that are close to the city and close to the resorts. I plan on skiing Alta/Snowbird mostly. Anyone have any good condo places to checkout? Any other areas that you would recommend living in? I'll have a car but ideally a place that is close to a Bus stop to the mountain.

There's a decent amount about housing info in Regionals, you might want to check that out! Sugarhouse area is a good in-between of resorts and city, but it'd probably be more convenient bus wise to live in cottonwood heights area, Fort Union or something like that. If I were you I'd search on KSL that's how I found my house. There's a map feature too that you can look at what's available in certain areas, pretty neat!

Sugarhouse is always a good bet. And the location is primo.

Seriously though, there's no snow out here right now. save yourself. go to B.C.

Park City may be, but hasn't Snowbird Alta both gotten over 500 inches the past 5 seasons? There isn't a resort in Colorado that gets that amount other than Silverton

I can't speak for the cottonwood canyons, but I ski basin, pc, and canyons and they have been pretty sad as of late.

But I'd say Cottonwood Heights. Right at the base of Big and Little Cottonwood canyon.

I lived in Sugarhood last season and personally I felt like it was way too far away from the resorts. This season I'm in Cottonwood Heights and I've been way happier. Cottonwood is way closer to the resorts, the air quality is way better, and way less homeless/sketchy people. The only positive thing about Sugarhood compared to Cottonwood is better night life, but if that's what you're coming to Utah for than you should probably rethink your decision. The lodges at Alta also provide housing if you work up there, thats always an option too.

It doesn't snow in Utah anymore. I haven't consistently skied soft snow since I left BC.
