yeahmonAs many of you may already know full tilt is moving more towards a krypton style of boot. They look like they will be more durable. Anyone know anymore about them? Also will full tilt still have a raichle style boot? Thoughts?
really_sorry.The descendant line will replace influence line. There will be no touring boot, just original, soul and descendant line. Here's a picture of the descendant http://www.ski.ru/kohana/upload/ckfinder_images/u1232/_thumbs/Images/1232_1421843430.jpghttp://www.ski.ru/kohana/upload/ckfinder_images/u1232/_thumbs/Images/1232_1421843430.jpg
Charlie*How are they like Kryptons? Any pictures/link?
Ive only seen the touring boot. Apparently it has a 102mm last, walk mode and a better buckle system. Thats all I know. Given those specs I could see that shell replacing the old (slightly wonky imo) booter/high five, just without the walk mode. Otherwise I'd kinda doubt they'd drop the classic "raichle" line.
Havent seen the 15/16 catalog though, enlighten us OP
NigelSteinI have the catalog, nothing with Tech soles.

yeahmonHave they dropped the Raichle flexon style of boot
yeahmonhttp://snowindustrynews.com/articles/full-tilt-launches-new-shell-%5Bfinally%5D/ And pretty sure there is no touring boot
Charlie*Ahh cool, thats the boot I was thinking of actually. Someone in the 15/16 Gear thread posted that boot and called it a touring boot, thats why I was thinking that. Looks pretty sweet though, basically what the booter/high five should have been like in the first place. Definitely an improvement
The referenced post has been removed.
"The new shell architecture follows the lead of DalBello's Krypton series with the central buckle being attached to the cuff at the hinge point."
cobra_commanderfrom the article:
The KR2 does not have the buckle attach at the hinge point, it attaches to the lower...
Looks like ROXA/4FRNT got pissed at FT selling ROXA boots in NA under the FT name now that you can get the roxa branded variety here too. I wonder who actually developed this boot? Maybe they had the guys who fucked up the K2 Pinnacle cross the hall and work on it?
