Replying to OP's struggle is real
What's up,
So, coming into my last few years of high school and I'm starting to have to make some pretty big decisions in terms of things which will significantly affect my future, things like University's/ Degree's/ Courses/ Subjects which i would like to carry on with, and pretty much just what i want to spend the rest of my life doing.
And thats just the thing, i don't know what i want to do with my future education and career/s, A part of me just wants to say fuck it, skiing is my favourite thing to do in the world i'll be a ski bum, or get a quick job at a ski resort and spend my life in the mountains doing what i love the most just trying to get by on the paycheque.
The other part of me says don't be fucking stupid and go get a degree which you can make a shitload of money with, which is pretty much setting me up for a 3-4 year degree course in something like structural engineering and then probably a masters, because thats just the way it works, the more qualified you are, the more money you get (most of the time anyways) now this would mean i probably wouldn't be able to spend the amount of time i want to spend skiing until i get a job sorted and what not, by which point with all the years spent getting qualified etc, i would probably be around 23-24, and i feel like at that point i've missed my prime for skiing park and what not.
So, peeps, whats the deal?
Do i take the path of the ski bum and follow the mountains.
Or
Go to school be boring, get my degrees make mad money in engineering and spend weekends skiing.
