Just wondering how bad it is to have a cracked edge. Like do i need to bring it in the shop? Its from hitting rails I'm pretty sure. Is this a bad thing? Thanks for the answer.
Edge cracks don't mean anything until they start pulling out. I've had 2 edge cracks in my skis for a year now, the edges are holding firm. Just keep your eyes on it, if it starts to pull out, then you'll have a problem, until then don't worry about it. You could also try and rotate which ski goes on which foot more often, that way the skis will wear evenly and last longer.
