Bozeman, MT

I'll be in Bozeman this weekend to visit the college and I've got some extra time to kill over the weekend. So what is there to do on a Thursday/Friday night? Also I wont have a car, but I was hoping to get out skiing on Saturday, is there any type of public transportation that would be able to get me from town over to Big Sky or even Bridger?

Oh, and if anyone knows where to get some decent bud out there, pm me real quick;)

I know there's a bus to get to Bridger. But I've never used it so I don't have any details on it.

bozeman to big sky is at eight i think and costs five bucks there and back, down at the back parking lot at msu. you can also try the rocky mountain carpool Facebook page.

I'm also visiting MSU this weekend. I'll also have nothing to do friday, I had originally planned on bringing stuff for urban and hitting that one rail that everyone has done but I've been hearing that there isn't snow in Bozeman. Probably hitting bridger on Saturday, maybe I could get you a ride if you wanted.

there is no snow it will probably all be gone except for parking lots. and conditions everywhere are crusty and crappy.

Really soft spring like conditions. If you are from the east you will still think conditions are damn good just avoid the rocks on anything higher up.

Slush sounds really fun with the terrain of sky/bridger. I'm fine as long as the whole mountain isn't an ice sheet.

I'll be heading up to bridger on saturday and probably sunday and will have room in the car if any of any of the potential froshman are looking for a ride

Devcan't be much worse than what we have here on the east coast.

It can be worse, My current situation is worse. East coast has gotten at least some significant snowfall this winter, so far Minnesota has gotten 1/2" every two weeks and freezing rain.

I'm driving out there with pops, I wouldn't need a ride. I just have to convince him to do big sky over bridger because big sky is harder on time since I'm traveling back on saturday too.

It's official, I successfully convinced my father to hit Big Sky! I figured bridger won't be too great given the current weather, if there was a big storm this week I'd be all over it though. Big sky has a good park, good homies, and access to the top of the mountain.

If you start looking in May, you'll have a better chance off being a place with a short lease on it.

One day at Big Sky was some of the best skiing I've had even though the snow conditions were not supposed to be that great. I definitely found some powder in the woods. Really wish I could've tried one of the chutes but they were all closed. Might be coming back over spring break.
